[ Having the ability to warp between worlds is pretty great — it gives Delphi complete freedom to visit friends and family across the multiverse! Heck yeah! ]
[ … Except for when timespace has a wibbly-wobbly moment. Like, right now. She could end up anywhere, and anywhen: from teamnesia games past and present, to jamjar games, to literally anybody’s world at literally any time. You’re minding your own business and, whomp, suddenly a young woman with fluffy short hair is just … there. Holding a bowl of plump red strawberries. ]
[ Hi?? ]

[ Hi?? ]

Could you tell me more about it-
[Yagi jumps and coughs as there's a knock on the door. Shit, he completely forgot...!]
Ah, that should be your clothes!
[He starts to stand- and nearly falls back down, leaning one hand on his knee to cough into his hand instead. Damn it, is this really his limit...]

[ She reaches out to lightly touch his shoulder. ]
I'll go answer the door. You just focus on feeling better.
no subject
Very well- I'll be fine in a moment.
[When she does answer the door, she's met with a woman with long dark hair slightly less messy than her own in a low cut shirt and high heel boots. She's holding a bag that likely holds the aforementioned clothes, but rather than hand them over right away, she looks Aoko up and down thoughtfully.]
Yagi likes them small, huh?

[ ... She blinks. Hard. Once or twice, or maybe three times, like she isn't sure she heard that right. ]
That's a weird conclusion to jump to. Uhm. Thank you for coming, Yagi-san is just sitting down right now ...
no subject
Good, try not to wear him out too hard. He's a very busy man. These are from my younger days, so they might fit you... well, mostly.
no subject
[ Another bow! ]
Thank you.
[ There's no way these are going to fit her anywhere close to properly. ]
no subject
[Especially not in the chest area. Sorry??]
[She doesn't stick around after that, citing a get together with some other friends she's on the way to meet. But she wishes them luck(???) before heading off, and Toshinori seems a bit sheepish when she returns from the entryway.]
I apologize for that... I suppose you wouldn't recognize her, but she's a Hero.

It's fine, it's fine. I've met way weirder people. [ boy oh boy has she met weirder people!! ] It was nice of her to come out of her way to help us …
Does she work at that agency you're a part of?

[Talking about himself in the third person gets confusing fast, maybe he should change the subject...]
But you're from very far away from here, so I doubt that is of interest to you. Now that you have clothes to change into, you're welcome to take that shower. I should really get back to making dinner.
[He looks toward the kitchen, debating if he feels well enough to get over there without hacking his lung out yet...]
no subject
Mm, I probably should. But you don't have to rush to make dinner if you're still feeling unwell, okay? Take it easy.
[ With that said, and the clothes clasped carefully in her arms, she'll head off to the bathroom. ]
no subject
[Once she's headed off, he sighs and tries getting up again, more slowly this time. He still doesn't feel exactly peachy, but if he can at least manage dinner and a bit of socializing, he can give his lung some proper rest and be back in proper shape tomorrow. Hopefully.]
[Assuming she isn't in there too long, his prediction was correct- a delicious curry smell wafts from the kitchen where it's busy simmering, while he's back on the couch frowning at his phone- the piles of papers and envelopes that had been on the coffee table have also mysteriously disappeared, leaving plenty of space should she want to eat in front of the TV.]

[ With what feels like an extreme effort of will, she pries herself out from under the blessedly hot spray. The clothes, though … they're a different sort of challenge entirely. Sure, she wears skirts all the time, but this is still … it's a little … well! It's not her style. And the shirt, already baggy thanks to the difference in their chest size, is so low cut. ]
[ But … she shouldn't complain. She's lucky to have something clean and dry to change into, and her scars aren't that big of a deal. It's fine. It's fine. ]
Yagi-san! That curry smells amazing. [ She steps back into the room with a sheepish smile, running a hand through her (still vaguely damp) hair. The litany of scars covering almost every inch of exposed skin sure tells an interesting story, with everything from gashes and burns to bite marks on display. ] You must be a great cook.
no subject
[He looks up quickly when he hears her, putting his phone away as he pushes himself back to his feet once more.]
It should be ready shortly! Would you like anything to drink in the meantime...?
[He'd noticed what scars were visible already, and so it's not too surprising that they continue beneath her clothes... though knowing now that she's not a Pro Hero, their existence is a little more concerning. He did want to ask her more about this whole getting trapped in another world thing, but that can wait until after she at least has had a chance to relax and eat dinner.]
no subject
Just some water would be great, thank you. Is there anything I can do to help?
no subject
[He's off to fetch her that water, as well as a glass for himself. Making sure his guest is comfy and relaxed aside, there are a lot of things he should ask her that may not be very comfortable or relaxing... but the more the idea of his students, or anyone, being spirited away to some dangerous world settles in, the more unsettling it feels.]
I would also like to continue our earlier conversation, if you don't mind.
no subject
You can ask me whatever you need to. I'll … do my best to answer. [ There's still plenty that she doesn't understand. Too much she doesn't understand. ]
no subject
I suppose the most important thing I'd like to know is how much of an active threat this is. How were you taken out of your own world?
no subject
It's not a threat anymore. [ Takes a long drink of water. ] I'll ... admit that I don't understand that metaphysics behind it all, but it's definitely, definitely over.
no subject
no subject
[ Sets down the glass, though she keeps her fingers wrapped around it. ]
I've been taken from my home three times, by three separate - things? Let's call them things. Those things aren't a threat anymore, to anyone, but that isn't to say something else couldn't do something similar, you know? It's more an existential threat than anything anyone can prepare for.
no subject
There must be some way...
[He can't allow that to happen to his Midoriya, much less any of his students...]
no subject
[ Gently swirls the water in her glass. ]
no subject
... Finding a way to do that is the hard part, unfortunately.
no subject
Good luck. [ He's going to need it. ] Sorry I can't help any more than that.
no subject
Hopefully there aren't any more places like that... although, could you tell me more about what happened to you and the other Midoriya and Bakugou, exactly? How was it fixed?
