[ Having the ability to warp between worlds is pretty great — it gives Delphi complete freedom to visit friends and family across the multiverse! Heck yeah! ]
[ … Except for when timespace has a wibbly-wobbly moment. Like, right now. She could end up anywhere, and anywhen: from teamnesia games past and present, to jamjar games, to literally anybody’s world at literally any time. You’re minding your own business and, whomp, suddenly a young woman with fluffy short hair is just … there. Holding a bowl of plump red strawberries. ]
[ Hi?? ]

I'm human, I'm just not a human from this version of Earth. Trust me, I know how crazy it sounds. It's … complicated. [ To say the least. ] It's a power I have, to move between different worlds are realities. I was trying to visit a friend when I accidentally ended up here, and I wasn't going to tell you because it sounds crazy, but you've been so nice and ... I felt bad being here on false pretences.

...So you're not a licensed Pro Hero. Oh dear. It may be best to keep your involvement with that villain today quiet.
[It's an important detail, okay.]
no subject
… License? You need a license to save people? Mori never mentioned anything about that… [ Then again, she and Mori spent most of their friendship trying to kick each other up, so it's not that much of a surprise. ]
A-Anyway! Anyway, I, uhm, if you'd like me to leave, just say the word and I'll go. [ She bows low, apologetic. ] I'm really sorry for deceiving you, Yagi-san!
no subject
[He repeats without thinking- well, because if she's from some other reality as she says, why would she know anything about this one? Or has she been here before...?]
[In any case, that all seems very complicated, but not to the point that he can't understand her need for a place to stay the night. Perhaps he should be a little more wary of her... but beyond that-]
I don't think you meant any harm by deceiving me. I can see why you thought it was best to hide it- so I appreciate that you chose to be honest with me! I accept your apology. You're still welcome to stay the night, although it sounds like getting you home may not be quite as straightforward as I assumed.
no subject
Thank you very, very much. [ Somehow, his kindness and understanding makes her feel even guiltier … while it simultaneously takes a weight off her shoulders. ] Don't worry about helping me get home, you're doing more than enough already! I'll figure it out. [ Eventually. Somehow. ]
And Mori is — he's from here, actually! Or an alternate universe of this world. He's a friend of mine. His real name is, ah, what was it? Midoriya Izuku.

[The existence of other realities, along with the power to move between them, is something he's going to have to mull over later. It's very fortunate that someone like Nakamori was behind it this time around, but it sounds like a power that could have dire consequences in the wrong hands...]
[As for this Mori person-]
Ah, Midoriya.

[ Leaps up to ... she doesn't know what she leapt up to do but she's here now!! ]
Y-Yes?! Oh my god, Yagi-san, are you okay-!
no subject
I-I'm okay, but I wasn't expecting that twist...!
[okay he's. He's fine. He wheezes and wipes his mouth on his sleeve, his shirt already had some blood on it anyway...!!]
Can you run that by me again? He's a different Midoriya...?
no subject
[ That's one heck of a coincidence. And also, uh, hm. Awkward, considering everything that happened in Forest. ]
Maybe you should sit down first? Just for a couple of minutes.
no subject
Yes, well, that is...
[Obviously he can't tell her the full truth of the matter...]
He's one of All Might's students, so I've met him before.
no subject
I see … well, uhm. This might sound alarming, but I need to ask — he hasn't … [ DIED ] gone … missing recently, as far as you know? Right? If he hasn't, he isn't the Midoriya that I know.
no subject
Missing? No, he was... he was fine, last I heard.
[He has to stop himself from reaching for his phone to try and check on him. It would be hard to explain why Yagi has Midoriya's number...]
Why? Is he- is your Midoriya in danger?
[It has to be a different Midoriya, right? Somehow thinking of it as a different Midoriya doesn't help that much.]
no subject
He's okay now! Everyone is okay now, I promise. [ She hesitates for a moment, pondering how much she should say. ] Him, and the Katsuki from his world - they're back where they belong, safe and sound.
To keep a long story short, a group of people all ended up stuck in another world together. It was dangerous, but we all worked together to fix things and escape.
no subject
So they're safe, that's good... but, stuck in another world? How did that happen? Is it something we need to worry about in this world, too?
[That's one of his biggest concerns, really. If this is an active threat, he needs to know about it.]
no subject
[ … Well … ]
I mean, I'm not saying it won't ever happen to somebody in this universe? They just wouldn't be going to that particular place. And, uhm. It's never something anyone can do anything about from the outside, as far as I know.
no subject
Could you tell me more about it-
[Yagi jumps and coughs as there's a knock on the door. Shit, he completely forgot...!]
Ah, that should be your clothes!
[He starts to stand- and nearly falls back down, leaning one hand on his knee to cough into his hand instead. Damn it, is this really his limit...]
no subject
[ She reaches out to lightly touch his shoulder. ]
I'll go answer the door. You just focus on feeling better.
no subject
Very well- I'll be fine in a moment.
[When she does answer the door, she's met with a woman with long dark hair slightly less messy than her own in a low cut shirt and high heel boots. She's holding a bag that likely holds the aforementioned clothes, but rather than hand them over right away, she looks Aoko up and down thoughtfully.]
Yagi likes them small, huh?
no subject
[ ... She blinks. Hard. Once or twice, or maybe three times, like she isn't sure she heard that right. ]
That's a weird conclusion to jump to. Uhm. Thank you for coming, Yagi-san is just sitting down right now ...
no subject
Good, try not to wear him out too hard. He's a very busy man. These are from my younger days, so they might fit you... well, mostly.
no subject
[ Another bow! ]
Thank you.
[ There's no way these are going to fit her anywhere close to properly. ]
no subject
[Especially not in the chest area. Sorry??]
[She doesn't stick around after that, citing a get together with some other friends she's on the way to meet. But she wishes them luck(???) before heading off, and Toshinori seems a bit sheepish when she returns from the entryway.]
I apologize for that... I suppose you wouldn't recognize her, but she's a Hero.
no subject
It's fine, it's fine. I've met way weirder people. [ boy oh boy has she met weirder people!! ] It was nice of her to come out of her way to help us …
Does she work at that agency you're a part of?
